Jeff Tanguay

CEO, Founder, CRNA, PharmD, RN

Jeff Tanguay is the Founder and CEO of Moetus Medical International (MMI) and its Nepal-based counterpart, Moetus Medical Training (MMT), which works to improve the accessibility and quality of healthcare in Nepal.  He leads this joint venture with excellence and diligence as he pulls from 18 years of cross-cultural exposure, coupled with 23 years of experience in U.S.-based emergency/acute care medicine, anesthesia and clinical pharmacology.  With a passion grounded in faith and reverence for all mankind, Jeff presses forward to play a vital part in bringing hope and quality healthcare to the remote regions of Nepal.

Kim Tanguay

International Communications, Co-Founder, DVM

Kim Tanguay is Co-Founder and Head of International Communications for both MMI and MMT.  Kim's eclectic background in veterinary medicine, business communications and diverse cross-cultural living has allowed her to understand the significant need for keeping invested people up-to-date with informative and transparent communication. Her hope is to invite all who are impacted by Moetus’ work, those giving and receiving, to be included in the journey through the impact of media.  She has a strong faith and a deep love for seeing transformation happen as individuals and cultures share in this work together.

Ed Schlect

MMI Board- President, Legal Representative- U.S. Offices 

Ed Schlect is MMI's Board President and MMT's U.S. Legal Representative. With a career history in Civil Engineering, Corporate Development and Strategy Creation, Ed brings vital insight and impeccable organizational knowledge to MMI’s work. When this background combines with his commitment to faith and relational transparency, the resulting impact is one of strong accountability and devotion to the mission.      

Brian Hoch

MMI Board- Vice President

Brian Hoch serves as Vice President of the MMI Board and as Personal Strategy Advisor for MMT.  From the initial vision to its current reality, Brian has been MMT’s core and trusted champion.  His practical nature is richly complemented by the scholarly rigor of his PhD studies and years of private counseling.  As a very relational and multicultural endeavor, MMT has deeply benefited from Brian’s unwavering stance of faith and deep desire to see hope and healing blossom from this venture.            

Brian Jensen

MMI Board- Treasurer

Brian Jensen serves as MMI Board Treasurer and as Mission Ambassador for MMT.  Brian’s grounded insights from years in business leadership and exposure to international development work are elevated by his vibrant relational nature.  His collective experience, passion for people and faith that draws him to the nations, bring focus and intentionality to MMT’s project model.   Understanding the nuances of cross-cultural work is key to guiding a project to its point of handoff for renewed autonomy and life-altering transformation.
