MMT and OCH in Partnership Together
'Supporting Those Who Serve' for the purpose of 'Fullness of Life for All'
Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH), a 50 bed mission hospital in the remote foothill region of Mount Everest, Nepal was established in 1962 as a small dispensary. It is now a multidisciplinary hospital serving its community and four adjacent districts—a total population of about 250,000 people. Other healthcare options require a full day's drive over rough terrain or a costly helicopter evacuation.
Although the challenges faced by OCH's isolated location are significant, there is a strong desire to overcome these hardships and grow as a facility. This strong sentiment has led Moetus Medical Training (MMT) to partner with OCH for maximum combined impact, creating a widespread excitement for change. The combined efforts of many, including partners like you, can catalyze a powerful trend toward accessible healthcare for all.
